WHO WE ARE AND HOW WE WORK

TrueShield SEO is an online reputation management firm. We change what people find when they search a name — by building results worth ranking, not by pretending the unwanted ones can be made to disappear.

    The problem we work on

Almost every consequential decision about a business now begins with someone typing its name into a search box. A supplier checking a new partner, a candidate weighing an offer, an investor doing early diligence — all of them form a view from one page of results before any conversation happens.

That page is rarely designed. It assembles itself from whatever ranks: old coverage, directory entries, a review profile nobody maintains, a forum thread, sometimes something genuinely damaging. The business it describes usually has no idea what is on it.

Our work is turning that page into something deliberate. It is slow, it is mostly construction rather than removal, and it holds only while it is maintained.

    How we operate

Nothing gets deleted, and we say so

Suppression moves results down; it does not remove them. Any provider promising deletion is either describing a legal process they are not running or selling something that will not happen.

No bought reviews, no bought links

Both are against platform terms, both are detectable, and both put the client's own domain at risk. We decline the work rather than take the shortcut.

    Position by position reporting

A campaign is reported against each result being displaced, not as a single score. Moving a harmful result from two to six and from two to three are different outcomes and should read differently.

The audit comes before the quote

What a first page makes possible varies enormously. Anyone quoting a timeline before looking at the actual search results is guessing at your expense.

What we will not take on

Reputation work attracts requests we decline. Burying a legitimate consumer complaint that reflects an unresolved problem. Fabricating reviews or testimonials. Suppressing accurate reporting on a matter of genuine public interest.

The distinction we hold to is between a search page that misrepresents a business and one that represents it accurately but unflatteringly. The first is our work. The second is a business problem that reputation management cannot and should not solve.
