What personal data this website collects, why, who receives it, and the rights you have over it.

    Who we are

trueshieldseo.com is run by TrueShield ("TrueShield", "we", "us"). We decide how the personal data described in this policy is used, so we are responsible for it. For anything about your data, write to sales@trueshieldseo.com.

    What we collect and why

We only collect what we need to answer you and to keep the site running.

Giving us your details is voluntary. Without them we can't reply to you or prepare an audit. We don't make decisions about you based solely on automated processing.

    Who receives it

Service providers who work on our instructions and may only use the data to provide their service to us:

    • Hostinger: hosts the website and our email inbox.
    • Hostinger Mail: the contact and free audit forms are sent from our own server straight to our inbox, with no other service in between.
    • Plausible Analytics: cookieless, privacy-first visitor statistics, hosted in the EU.

If you contact us on WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram or Facebook, that platform also processes your messages under its own privacy policy. We share data with authorities only when the law requires it. We do not sell your personal data, and we don't share it for advertising.

The site's fonts are served from our own server, so loading a page sends nothing to Google or any other font provider.

    International transfers

Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area or the UK. When they do, we rely on an adequacy decision (including the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified) or on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, with the UK addendum for UK data.

    Cookies and browser storage

We don't use tracking or advertising cookies, so the site doesn't show a cookie banner. Plausible Analytics works without cookies and without identifying you.

The site keeps a few small items in your browser's own storage. They never leave your device, and each one is needed for a feature you use:

    Items stored in your browser
    NameTypePurposeCategoryDuration
ts_last_send_contact, ts_last_send_free_auditLocal storageRemembers when you last sent a form, to stop the same form being sent repeatedly (spam protection)Strictly necessaryUntil you clear your browser data
trueshield:reduce-motionLocal storageRemembers that you switched animations off with the Reduce motion buttonPreference you setUntil you switch motion back on or clear your browser data

You can clear these at any time in your browser settings. If we ever add cookies that need your consent, we will ask first and update this section.

    Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict how we use it, or to send it to you in a portable format. You can object to processing based on our legitimate interest. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Write to sales@trueshieldseo.com. We reply within one month.

EU: you can also complain to the data protection authority in the EU country where you live, work, or where you think the problem happened.

    UK visitors

We process UK personal data under the UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR). You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

    Children

This site is meant for businesses and adults. It isn't directed at children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their data. If you think a child has sent us their details, tell us and we'll delete them.

    Security

The site runs only over HTTPS with strict security headers, access to our inbox is restricted, and we use established providers. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach puts your data at risk, we will tell you and the relevant authority where the law requires it.

    Changes and contact

We update this policy when our practices change, and the date at the top shows the current version. Questions: sales@trueshieldseo.com. See also our Terms of Service and Accessibility Statement.
